It was having trouble updating itself. I couldn&#8217;t find much from googling, so hopefully this will help someone else.<br \/>\nThis is at least for Server 2008 R2, but should work with Windows 7. I had a strange issue with windows update, I think updates partially downloaded and just needed to be cleared. However I also had both a proxy pac file specified and a proxy hard coded into IE. I removed them both then ran through the following.<br \/>\n(again, ensure there are no connection issues between your WSUS server and client by removing the proxy if needed)<br \/>\nStop the Windows Update Service.<br \/>\nRemove contents of C:\\Windows\\SoftwareDistribution\\Download\\<br \/>\nRemove or rename\u00a0C:\\Windows\\SoftwareDistribution\\DataStore\\Datastore.edb<br \/>\nThen updates should work!<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.postinger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/2014-09-06_1159.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-502\" src=\"https:\/\/www.postinger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/2014-09-06_1159.png\" alt=\"2014-09-06_1159\" width=\"584\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postinger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/2014-09-06_1200.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.postinger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/2014-09-06_1200.png\" alt=\"2014-09-06_1200\" width=\"584\" height=\"276\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThen run wuapp and update.
