6.8 SPC II Reloading

I’ve surfed the web looking for 6.8 loads with Win 748 as thats the only powder I could find at the time. I’ve included the loads in this post. I’ve only tested 29 grains in a 120 SST bullet. However Ive found the load consistently hits high and right vs factory Hornady rounds. I’ll keep looking for some H322.

Ruger 10/22 – Timney Trigger from Rimfire Sports & Custom

Last week I picked up a 10/22 takedown. Since centerfire ammo is getting hard to find, and expensive I figured having something in 22 LR might be a good idea. I e-mailed my FFL and he had one on hand.
So far I mounted a Nikon 3×9 Rimfire scope on it but kept reading(and my FFL told me) about how much of a different a Timney trigger makes. I held off initially because the trigger was almost as much as the rifle.
The more I read and looked around for one the more I wanted it. But I didn’t want to pay over $200 for it. So I found one on a site called Rimfire Sports and Custom.  For around $180.  I ordered it Tuesday night late, Wednesday I had a tracking number and today(Friday) it was delivered. Wow, in this time with everyone ordering anything and everything gun related? This is the place to order your 10/22 stuff from. Super fast shipping and a good price. Midway and Brownells want almost $50 more for the same part.
This trigger ads a bunch of features Ruger overlooked, the bolt and magazine releases. They both are hard to operate and this trigger fixes those issues.

Installation was quick and easy, just need a slotted screwdriver and a punch. I watched this video to install it.
